MCFC, MUFC or AFC, Title Contenders

Can Manchester City be considered Premier League Title Contenders this season or is it Arsenal / Manchester United?

Short answer to that question: Yes.

Long answer: Well with the shambolic season that Chelsea seem to be having under Jose Mourinho and the fact that it is not all down to him, it is also his players. I would think yes, but let's also not discount both Arsenal and the red half of Manchester, United just yet. Yes Manchester City are no doubt the favourites to be crowned Champions at the end of the season, but it is still only week 13.
Manchester City and Chelsea / Manchester United have already faced off this season with the scores being 0-0 in the Derby and a 3-0 win in the Cityzens favour against the Champions. Next up for City are Liverpool in which Sergio Aguero "the City goal machine" is targeting a return, we will have to check in with Ben Dinnery for an update on that, but, it looks set to happen.
Liverpool, themselves are undergoing a rebuilding process with Jurgen Klopp and I can see them playing free-flowing, attacking football away to City. it should make for an open and attacking game at the Etihad. But, I am still expecting Manchester City to come out on top in the game later today, with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Yaya Toure / Raheem Sterling having good games.
But, for me, if Arsenal can sustain the "pace" in the Title battle that they have so far, at least into the Christmas period ("who mentioned Christmas, it's only November"). Then, their match which takes place in GW17, just before Christmas, it should make for a spicy affair with both teams hopefully not giving an inch to each other. I fully expect, Manchester United to be well in with a shout of top spot having played Leicester City, West Ham and Bournemouth, after playing Watford this weekend.
If that all goes to plan, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United should all be jostling for position in the top four.
Their next five games sees Arsenal playing: West Brom (this weekend), Norwich, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Manchester City.
Manchester City playing: Liverpool, Southampton, Stoke, Swansea and Arsenal.
Manchester United playing: Watford, Leicester, West Ham, Bournemouth and Norwich.
That will take us right the way up to the Boxing Day games.
I say, it should be set for an awe-inspiring battle between the three.
